20 in 20: June Birthday Bash Giveaway, Day 2

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments yesterday. This project’s off to a good start, and we’re only on day 2! Here’s the second painting that’s up for grabs in my 20 in 20 giveaway:

This is a gouache painting, about 4.5in wide and 4in tall, on a 6in square piece of Arches 90lb paper.

  • how to enter: leave a comment on the giveaway post to be entered to win the painting featured in the post. Feel free to enter to win more than one painting, but only one comment per person per post.
  • entry deadline: comments close 48 hours* after the initial post time (*the one exception is day 20 which falls on June 28th. Day 20’s giveaway post will close after 24 hours, so I can announce the final winners on my actual birthday).
  • winner selection & notification: winners will be chosen at random and announced on the blog each Monday for all the giveaways from the previous week.
  • how to claim your painting: send me an email at aisforanika -at- gmail -dot- com with your mailing address and I’ll send you the painting you won right away! Winners must send me their response with their mailing address within 72 hours (3 days) of the published time of the notification post or they forfeit the prize in which case another winner will be randomly chosen.

  1. I tend to enjoy these geometric/gem shaped drawings fo yours best, although I do like the ones that have a lot of swoopy organic lines too. I’d like to be included in the draw for this guy!!!

  2. I am filling out a ‘ballot’ ie: commenting for each one & will retweet often. This is a great idea! I like the combination of a light green with red. I think I may have to invest in a set of gouche paints. I love the look. Recommend a brand?

  3. gouache and i have yet to see eye to eye. this is beautiful, inspires me to try again. love the idea of a painting a day!

  4. Oooh I love this one the best, the colours and the pattern make me think of the 1950’s (my fave)
