20 in 20: June Birthday Bash Giveaway, Day 14

Day 14’s painting was inspired by Christmas Cactus flowers. Like most of my paintings, it eventually took on a life of its own.


I know I’m late posting today’s painting. I had every intention of finishing the painting this morning and posting it shortly thereafter, but life had other plans for me. Not very professional of me, I know, but sometimes you just gotta roll with it.

This is a gouache painting that’s about 4.25in x 4.5in on a 6in square piece of Arches 90lb paper.
